Hello and Welcome. It's nice to meet you. Allow us to introduce RP Wedding Portraiture, a leafy branch of the Rubi Photography studio tree. As an art based photographer, Danielle Rubi has been asked to shoot many weddings over the years using her natural photojournalistic style. She fell in love with photographing people IN LOVE. She is based in Paris, France, a city that brings old world romance into her camera's lens at every moment. In black and white and in color, she is available to photograph your wedding, love ceremony, special event or celebration. Anytime. Anywhere. She is open to budgets of all sizes and works individually with her clients to create a personal approach to her work.
She has shot weddings of many traditions and styles and in locations ranging from Mexico to Ireland, and San Francisco to Copenhagen. From shooting on the coastal cliffs of the pacific ocean, to 500 hundred year old European churches and estates, and to cobbled, rustic small countryside towns, RP captures true ambience and magic. She specializes in portraiture with a modern, chic and natural feel with a flair for timelessness. Some of her Editorial clients include Dwell magazine, Nylon, Anthem, Readymade and newspapers worldwide. Her past exhibitions include gallery and museum shows in: New York City, Tokyo, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Oakland, Santa Barbara, Marfa, TX, Stockholm, Bergen, Berlin, and more worldwide.
She has also participated in art events such as Andrea Zittel's "High Desert Test Sites" and contributed works to various books and fundraisers. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and travelled the world taking pictures, fell in love, got married, and now lives in Paris.
