Ojai

As a friend of the bride and groom visiting from Paris, I took a few portraits to add to their wedding book of photographs. This wedding was so extremely moving and magical, I will hold it close to my heart forever. There is just something so intensely warm and enchanting about the Ojai sunlight through the grand old oak trees and musical family members singing songs. Here's one of my favorites of Karen, the bride.

Malibu

It was so fun to work with dancer and musician, Rachel and Brian, as they are both so creative and their wedding party were very spontaneous and full of laughter and light.

Ireland

We were invited to Killarney in County Kerry, the south of Ireland, to photography Deirdre and Dáibhí's wedding. They got married in the same small church Deirdre's parents and grandparents got married in. After the wedding, they walked down the road to her cousins historic pub to enjoy traditional Irish music, oysters and champagne.

Norway

I was honored to be the wedding portraitist for the wedding of incredible friend and musician (Kings of Convenience), Eirik Glambek Bøe and the lovely Ina Grung. Their ceremony was held in a small cobbled square in front of there home in the historic district of Bergen, Norway.  After a post-ceremony boat ride with all the guests, we docked near an old building specifically designed for the local elite over 200 hundred years ago. The party was intimate fete full of candle light, music and children. Ina wore her mother's wedding dress and was radiant and elegant through the entire evening. Eirik and Ina are a beautiful couple with warm smiles and open hearts.

San Francisco

These wedding portraits are of the Dwell magazine's editor-in-chief, Sam, and his wife Anissa. I was thrilled to be their portraitist, as they are dear friends of mine that truly designed a personal celebration. It was a very intimate wedding in a wood arts & crafts style bulding ( women's club of Sausalito, CA. ) designed by Julia Morgan.

Santa Barbara

We loved shooting the wedding of esteemed Santa Barbara resident, Kenny Loggin's son, Crosby and his wife Brooke. Crosby's family has not only contributed incredible music to the world, but also charity work and honorable event work in the Santa Barbara area. It was a honor to be their portraitist. It was a night full of laughs and incredible music.

Mexico

For Daniel and Carlyn's wedding, we went to the city of Puebla, Mexico. They got married in a gold-leafed ornate chapel in the middle of the city and then walked in their own wedding parade to the beautiful and stately monastery where the reception took place.
